This one is just for today. :) Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall

Remember last week when I told you that music was poetry? It was no joke! This week I want you to choose a video to watch and study the lyrics of. You get to pick the video - this is not categorized by hour! After you watch the video, I want you to talk about what you think the song means in the comments section. You can respond to what other people have said or ask them questions about their responses.

Something to keep in mind - when you say what you THINK the song means, you need to be able to back it up with evidence. So in addition to saying what you think the meaning is, you also have to tell me why you think that. Have fun!

    i think its about kids not getting the concept of doing things like education like in the song it says its just another brick in the wall as in another road block for us kids having freedom but i disagree!!!!!!!!
    they think its useless but that's not true.

    I think that this song is talkng about how much they hate teachers becuase he is saying teachers leave those kids alone. Plus they also say all and all you are just another brick in the wall. i dont think that teachers are bad at all:)

    i think this song is really about how kids dont get wat they are doing they pro think its cool but then thry find out that its not so cool anymore..i also think it about kids not listening to teachers and them not doing what the teacher saysand they think the teacher is a brick wall so they ingore them.

    this is a good one to say is a poetry song. Because it says the same lines a couple times in arrow. But it also rm=rhymes to so im not just saying that because my names floyd and i think pink floyd is a good singer and i would want to be likle him.

    what i think is that it is saying that teachers should not be so hard on kids and that the kids are getting fed up with it and they want somethings to change because they are tired of it

    This is a good song and the reason it is a good song is because he expresses himself by giving out his opinion on what to do but we dont need to do all this stuff but he does make a good point though. Like when he said "We don't need no education" is an opinion that people could take so its cool to have something that can change people's mind about stuff.

    i think this song is about how some teachers are being hard on kids and thay think that kids shoud not go to that school

    i think taht this songs about how the kids hate school and there teachers and thats why he yells "HEY TEACHER LEAVE THEM KIDS ALONE" and hes supporting the kids and not the teachers/school
