im discussing the chapter i read in Mockingjay.
right now katniss just arrived back in district 12 to see if gale saying that it was bombed was true,and sure enough it was, she looked around, mostly everything was grey and ashy. about 90% of district 12's population was gone. she looked around and had found prims cat Buttercup still alive. she was surprised that he was still alive and well fed. im guessing he was eating field mice which im surprised also survived during the bombing. this is important because district 12 was her home and it was bombed. i think the book will tell me why it was bombed.
Do you think anyone survived the bombing?!

In my book Matilda is working with her mother in there family owned coffee shop. Matilda has gone to the market to get some nessesary cooking suplies and runs into an old friend. The hot summer has brought a drowt and the food is limited. Plus ther is a "fever" gouing aroud and it has already killed three people.One of the people killed was Matildas friend that worked at the coffee shop too. So Matilda and her family are worried about the loss of food and the Fever.

Right now my character is feeling upset because her mom is working 2 jobs, her sister doesn't do what she is suppose to do. and she has to take care of her little brother and a dog.. the main character has to juggle a lot of thing and take care of her self and she doesn't have a dad to take care of there family. when my character was suppose to cook dinner for her and her brother and sister she looks into the fridge and finds mustard and cheerios and if it was me i wouldn't want to eat that together GROSS!!!!! and her sister didn't go shopping like she was suppose to do..... i think that towards the end of the book her life might get better and might not it all depends on how her family is going to act when her mom isn't home and they do what they are suppose to do.i think the character is going to have a happy life.
What have you read in the book that makes you think the character will have a happy life? Give me some evidence!

Conflict
In my book right now Danny got a phone call from the coach telling him that he did not make the team. I don't think that was fair because the coach did not keep any of the boys that goes to his school. The coach said before the try-outs that he wanted his team to be taller than last year. If I was the coach I would not say that becauase you might not have the shorter kids next year. Now Danny's dad is trying to make a team of the people that didnot make the other travel team.
Do some more thinking about that. Do you think Danny's dad will succeed? Why would it be a good idea to make a new team? Why might it not be a good idea?

Right now in my book katniss is going through what she never thought that she would have to go through again. but i can't tell you what's going on in this book unless you have read the first book otherwise it will give too much away.
But if any of you haven't read these books and you really don't know anything about katniss she is a type of girl that loves to hunt and is brave and she will do as much as she can to protect someone if they are in need of help as long as they're not her enemy. But if you want to know what happens then i recommend this book to anyone who loves books that give a lot of detail and action etc. And so far i have read the first book and i am almost done with the second book which is called Catching Fire and i have to say that these are very good books so far.

right now in my book my main character Brain is the bat boy for the Detroit Tigers. His mood use to be very happy but now it has gone down hill. This because his favorite player on the tigers is not talking to him. Also something else that is happening is that is that his dad is coming over from Japan and visiting him and his mom. Right now in my book Zoey Redbird is trying to save Heath, her ex-boyfriend, from being killed by strangely ugly creatures that have been attacking high school football players from her old school.
This is important because through out the whole book there has been a big deal about football players being kidnapped or "running away". All the evidence seems to be pointing to the House of The Night.
This helps me understand that Zoey has a big heart for the House of The Night and would do anything to keep the school going. But not only does she have to worry about that, she also has to worry about her being the leader of the Dark Daughters and is going through other problems with having a boyfriend... or two.
This book is both romantic and dangerous as she goes on a terrifying trip to save Heath, and wonders if someone who she has hated since she first truly met is looking out for her and possibly helping her. Could things turn out really good or extremely bad??

Right now in my book, big surprise, they are still at the courtroom. But it is getting crazy, the more people the judge calls in, the more mad and scarred Steve gets. One time in the book one guy named briggs got so mad he started to freak out when a new person started talking. This book is starting to make me feel really mad at the petrocelli because I am on steve's side that she is trying to get more people to say he is guilty. I hope that the judge will feel sad for steve and not give him the death penalty.

I have just finished book one in the "Gone" series and so far, i am HOOKED! The book starts out when everyone over the age of 15 disapears out of there area. And as it happened a crear elecvtric wall has been built around them and no one can escape the "FAYZ", so the main characters Sam, Quinn, and Astrid try to save the children, but soon they realize they has extroridinary powers, and so do the bullies, a group of kids from the private schoo, up the hill, so threw a twisted turn of events and mutating animals a war is broken out and the children must fight to help save them all.
The feelings in my bok are really important because Sam is deeply in love with Astrid right from the beginging and slowly there love becomes so strong that he'll do any thing to keep her safe, even give up his only chance to not escape the "FAYZ" and in return she loves him back but she wanted him to leave so he could stay safe, but Sam is determined not to let her or her mentally ill younger brother to get hurt.
This shows me that Sam really truley dose love Astrid and will never leave her side. this also shows me what kind of person sam is even thow he has unbeliveble powers and could easily kill everyone around. Sam is a sweet and sensative guy and loves so deeply. The feelings are really brought out during this story.

Right now in my book skye the main charcter is getting picked on by some footbal players so she drew an incert in the school news paper to make them look like girls.
This is important because when they seen it the football players took skyes sketch book and they posted some of her privte, imbarsing drawings all around the school.
This helps me understand that you dont always need to take matters into your own hands, sometimes its okay to tell an adult. Also treat others the way you would like to be treated. Now who knows what the football players are going to do next.

Right now in my book, The main character, Mitty
(or Mitchell, to be exact), has inhaled the powder of 100 year old smallpox scabs that he found in an old medical book while studying for a science paper. After about 3 days he begins to get worried (a little late for my standards) and begins to feel slight symptoms. He contemplates because he doesn't want to infect his family,friends or the rest of New York City. This is important because that is the main topic of the book, he's not sure if he's infected and he's not sure about leaving. This helps me understand how courageous Mitty is because he is willing to die to save New York.
After the word "contemplates" in the 3rd sentence there is supposed to be the word "suicide", my apologies.

Artemis's mom is really sick with a fairy decease. So Artemis and Holly go to the past to save the last of an extinct lemur who's brain cells can cure the decease. Artemis is trying to plan out how things should happen. But he can't remember what happened that day correctly. This causes problems want he try to avoid the past him.
Because he can't remember what really happened that day i think that that day was wiped from his memory.

There's this little ten year old girl named Skye who has to move in with her grandmother in a different state,because her older brother got into a major car accident and was coming home from rehab. Skye's parents felt like if she went to live with her grandma that they could focus better on Scott (her older brother). She does not like this at all and she gets really mad at her brother because she blames it all on him.
