Book: The Magicians the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel Author: Michael Scott Nicholas, Scatty and the twins have flied to Paris after Dr.Dee attacked them. The witch that had been training Sophie disappeared and Nicholas is trying to find her. I think that Nicholas is going to find an old friend in the city. One of Dee's allies is going through a list of immortals in Paris. Then he found the ones that were friends with Nicholas. this makes me think that when and if Nicholas goes to his old friends is will be a trap.
Book: Don't You Know There's a War On Author: AVI Topic: Conflict Right now in my book, Howie the main character's 5th grade teacher, Miss Gossim, is being fired for expecting a child. This takes place in 1943, when teachers couldn't get pregnant. Howie is trying to convince the principal Dr. Lomister , to not fire her. I know this because Howie wrote up a petition and had the entire class sign it to keep her at her job. This helps me understand that Howie really likes his teacher and wants her to stay no matter what. This also means that he wants her to keep her right to teach while having a child, like many teachers do today.
Last year at Wilson, there were 4 pregnant teachers at the same time! Mrs. Woods was pregnant last year too! That just shows how much our rights have changed since the 40's.
WOW Mitchell that sounds like a good book and i wonder when you get done with it you should let me read or tell me where you got it but keep up the good work on the blog.

Book: A man named Dave By; Dave Pelzer Topic: Setting Right now in my book, Dave just heard from his captian tell him that all of the spots had been taken and he could'nt be a air crew member. At the time, Dave was really mad. He was going to go in and quit from the air force, But right before he could go in, a different air force member told him that sergent blue wanted to speak to him. when dave got there he learned that they had made a mistake and he could become a air crew member. Some evidence is sergent Blue Stated " The air force has made a mistake, I have a problem with that." This is important because now that dave knows that they made a mistake, he can now finish his life long dream to become part of a real air crew team. This helps me understand that when things look bad, there is still hope that something good can happen
Book: DIARY of a Wimpy Kid-DOG DAYS Author: Jeff Kinney in my book what is happening is that it is summer time and Greg doesn't want to go outside. So his mom comes in his room and opens up his shade and he said "oh light i am dieing". So when he tells his mom that he is busy on beating the level he is on and he doesn't want to go outside right now. I think that he doesn't want to go outside because he is white as a ghost and he doesn't want to go out. But if i was white as a ghost i would go outside. And that is all that is happening in my book.

Now cause of the footage that Beetee took of Katniss to try and override the capitol with the capitol is bombing district 13 to try and make them give up. But Katniss knows that if she gives up now, that it would be it for everybody. Also the capitol has Peeta, which Katniss figured out that president Snow is using him against her. Cause if he keeps torturing Peeta, then he thinks that Katniss will give up. But she won't. My question is "Why does Snow want to kill Katniss even though what she did in the first games was a long time ago"?
Throw like a girl by Jennie Finch Right now in my bookshe is talking about the injurys that you can get.Also she is talking about picking a coach and as you get older then you know what kind of coach works best for you.what I think will happen next is that she will talk about the tips to have a good work out. I can tell this because she is talking about injurys now she will talk about fitness. The author says that you can't play with a really bad injury. It is best to what to get released from the doctor. This helpsmetothat it is not all fun and games and someone could get hurt if you get really hurt.
Call me Francis Tucket By Gary Paulsen Mr.Tucket has left Mr.Grimes and is riding alone trying to find food, in the distance he sees a herd of wild buffalo roaming the prairie and he sees that his only chance of getting food is to shoot one down and when he got down the mountain he shot one buffalo and it scared the herd so he got caught in the stamped of wild buffalo and is fighting his way to get free.

tuesdays with Morrie By; Mitch Albom Morrie is an old college professer and he recently just found out he has a deadly deise and he is going to die soon.But, the amazing thing is that Morrie stays postive he never feels sorry for himself or anything!Everyone comes and visits him and he ends up on a t.v. show & he starts getting fan letters. In the letters people tell Morrie about their story, and what they know and telling him to stay strong.My question is how does he stay so strong? My understand is that there are some people who are actually strong and that even in the worse situation there is always a positive.
book: where the red fern grows author: Wilson Rawls Blly has just walked to town to get some hound dogs that he has ordered. For the past two years Billy has been working and saving up money for the dogs. what i think will happen next is Billy will start to train his dogs, so he can go hunting with his dogs Old Dan and Little Ann. in the text it says that Billy watched the dogs play and thought " next thing to do is train them." to me this means that Billy will start training the pups. So he can go coon hunting sonn with OLd Dan and Little Ann.
Divergent by Veronica Roth Beatrice just gave up her family and switched to a different faction, The Dauntless. She changed her name to Tris and everything she does she thinks about her family she left behind A question I have is why is she scared her family disprove she is a different person now she left her parents because she wanted to. I think this because in my book it says when she walked over to where the Dauntless were. Her parents look at her like she was the devil. Also she said she should stay but she couldn't stand it anymore. This helps me understand that she wasn't like her parents and wasn't cut out to be selfless and help others 24-7
Breaking Dawn~Part three: Bella By Stephenie Meyer Right now in my book the Cullen's are trying to get people from different covens to some and help them because the Volturi is planning on attacking them for stuff they were told. Now that Renesmee has won over the hearts of the vampires, everyone of them is ready to fight by the Cullen's side and try to help them win. Even though Edward and Carlisle are not planning on making this lead to a fight for their lives, they want to do what is ever necessary to protect their family. While in the meantime, Bella is learning how to use her gifts to help with this fight and is trying to control it the best way possible, with the help of two other vampires she is doing a great job at it. This makes me think that it is brave for all of the vampires to want to help the Cullen's even though they know it is going to be a fight that may take their lives. I also think that it is a big deal that the Volturi is having every single one of their members to fight in this battle (even the wives) , from what one of the vampires says in the book it is unnatural for Aro(Volturi leader) to ever do such a thing like this. This helps me understand that the story is only going to get better till the end and it is going to leave impressive thoughts on whoever reads this.
